MrBayes

tutorial

If you have not used MrBayes before, or would like to get a more thorough introduction than you have received previously, we suggest you walk through the MrBayes 3.2 tutorial.

To use the tutorial, you will need the following data files: primates.nex and cynmix.nex. Ubuntu Linux users should already have these files in ~/wme_jul2011/software/mrbayes/examples. Copy these files into a working folder. Open a terminal, navigate to this folder and launch MrBayes by typing "mb".

More experienced users might want to explore the information and links provided on the software page for MrBayes or Fredrik Ronquist's webpage: http://people.sc.fsu.edu/~fronquis/mrbayes/.
