The objective of molecularevolution.org is to provide information about the field of molecular evolution, which we define as the study of the evolutionary patterns and processes of nucleic acids and proteins, as well as the use of these molecules in studies of phylogenetics, population genetics, biogeography, and other areas of research and at different levels of biological organization.
